Went to lunch without a reservation this week, initially told there would be a long wait for a dining room booth. Soon after we were seated by a friendly server, she took our drink order while dropping off the menus. The place was packed with diners lingering over desert and finishing up cocktails, many of the other diners were older patrons. After a brief look at the menu we decided with the advice of our server on a salad and fish tacos. Tacos were loaded with cabbage, a creamy sauce and piles of pickled onions, there was some fish but the ratio to onion and cabbage was huge. The creamy sauce covered my hand on the first bite. I'd say the flavor was oniony with a hint of cabbage and a few bites of fish, rice on the side was buttery, salsa again heavy on the onion, overpowering the subtile rice. The healthy salad was a plentiful mix of superfoods, salmon perfectly cooked, mountain of kale, sweet potato, beautiful avocado, etc. Service was attentive, professional and well trained. There was no push to turn tables quickly even with a crowded room full of guests. Our booth was comfortable and the interior a mix of understated black tones in a well lighted room. Wish we had time to linger over lunch as did the other diners. Would definitely reserve a table before hand even though we got lucky. Their bar was packed at midday, I see the three martini lunch still lives on at the Oswego Grill.
Very delicious food! I like the range of poké options, since it's my fav. Poke nachos, poke bowls, sushi rolls. They are on the spendy side but it's a more fancy restaurant. The lighting is very dim! Mood lighting, but look at a menu prior so you can see everything. They have a back room for groups Quick and reliable service
Great food and great service, highly recommend coming here. I ordered the chicken Marsala and my husband ordered the Caesar salad with blackened salmon. Both were delicious, and I absolutely inhaled my food. The chicken Marsala came with grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes. I usually don't like asparagus, but these were excellent! We came here for a friend's birthday, and they very generously gave her a banana split sundae. I will definitely be coming back and cannot wait to try their other menu items!
Really 3.5 stars that I'm rounding up because the service is great. It's a decent casual dining spot where you can certainly find reliably good food, but only if you order the right things from the menu. The chicken tenders, with or without Cajun or other seasoning, are truly delicious and the dipping causes really elevate them. The burgers, sandwiches, and pasta also tend to be solid. But other dishes sometimes fall flat, like braised short ribs I ordered off a seasonal menu which had an oddly bitter wine sauce. I ordered a blackberry smash cocktail and asked the server if it could be made less sweet, and he and the bartender delivered.
Seth was a stellar server. Very patient & efficient. The food was good. The clam chowder was excellent! Some of the best I've ever had. Large clams! Not minced! The dessert was good the donut balls were heaven. The banana split my husband got was mostly bananas & whipped cream. Not too generous on the ice cream. But that was the minus one star. Everything else was great. ALL Staff was very friendly.
